What in the world am I talking about? A good friend of mine has been putting together a book about his business. (Can?t tell you the name of his company, he prefers to remain anonymous!) Isn?t it a shame we live in a world where we need such protective devices? What ever happened to the good old days when we left our doors unlocked?
One quote from his website really hit home for me, ?Home security advice that could save your life, your children?s lives and protect your property?as well as protect you from getting ripped off by a security systems company.?
Several years ago my husband?s business was broken into, so, we now have a security system at our home and business. I must admit having the system does make me feel more secure.
When I was asked to review my friends book, Deter and Minimize, I was not sure what to think because I am one of those gals who hates to read the how-to information with cell phones, answering machines and all that other electronic stuff.? But, not far along into its pages I soon realized I wasn?t bored! I was drawn in by Todd?s rich, southern charm. His personality came through perfectly.
Here?s a couple of quotes from his book that I found intriguing, ?A burglar likes the quiet, and when that quiet is shattered, suddenly and quite loudly, he just might forget why he is there, and a quick exit rises to the top of his to-do list fairly quickly.?

One more thing? I?ve said all there is to say, but I must try one more time, ?WAKE UP TODD!? You have an interesting, helpful product but if you don?t market it, how will anyone know about it? Trust me, I am no expert on this stuff, but I?m learning everyday. Social Media Marketing is what it?s all about? Facebook, Twitter, Blogging. Get your name out there and promote your product. (Your real name!)
Even the scripture talks about not hiding your light under a bushel. Matthew 5: 15-16
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
